HTTPs Boot function in BIOS allows your system to use a secure gateway to download and install OS.

HTTPs Boot is a network boot capability. To initiate the HTTP(s) Boot Feature, enable the Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) network stack when entering BIOS settings. HTTPs Boot on Client BIOS supports the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol. TLS is not supported by The Pre-boot Execution Environment (PXE) Boot because PXE is designed to work only with a corporate network and uses UDP instead of TCP.

Lanner provide the most complete BIOS customization service for our OEM and ODM customers. Lanner’s dedicate BIOS team can help customize BIOS configuration based on customer’s requirement, including system customization (welcome logo, message, DI/DO), enhanced security measures (Secure Boot, Dual BIOS) and remote BIOS management functions.

IPMI, abbreviation of Intelligent Platform Management Interface, offers system administrators to manage and monitor computing platforms with standardized interface and protocol. Due to its messaging and hardware-based nature, IPMI works independently from the operating system, so that system administrators are able to remotely manage and monitor computing platform status.
