Software-defined Wide Area Networks are the next evolution to VPN’s (Virtual Private Networks) now providing highly flexible, automated and resilient data transport for businesses. According to the latest Gartner Report on WAN Edge Infrastructure, in next 5 years more than 90% of WAN edge infrastructure will be based on vCPE platform or SD-WAN versus traditional router for managing network connectivity and resources from distributed branches to data center and the cloud.

As the leader in supplies versatile network platforms for SD-WAN, Lanner will join the 21st edition of the MPLS+SDN+NFV World Congress to present our latest product portfolio including the uCPE/uCPE devices consolidating computing, routing and security, as well as highly reliable hyper converged platforms designed for mobile edge computing (MEC) and Cloud RAN. Drop by and visit Lanner booth at #305 from April 9th to 12th, 2019 in Paris, France.

vCPE/uCPE for SD-WAN

We have been involved in SD-WAN deployment methods; from designing dedicate network appliances for managed service providers, to building NFV-based platform for hosting VNFs from multi-vendors. At the event Lanner will demonstrate the latest vCPE/uCPE platforms NCA-1515, a desktop network appliance powered by Intel® Atom™ C3758/C3558/C3308 CPU (codenamed Denverton). It features robust performance, Intel’s QuickAssist Technology, Intel® AES-NI, secure boot and support for TPM 2.0.

Live Demo for Multi-access Edge Computing

Lanner will work with NTT Lagopus to showcase Lanner NCA-4020 in a live MEC demonstration. Lanner NCA-4020 is deployed as a User Plane Function(UPF), orchestrated by NTT LagopusEdge, to split the traffic to a local application instance and the services in the central cloud.

Rugged Network Appliance

Designed to deploy at the micro data center or CORD as an outdoor server, the latest rugged network appliance NCR-1510 features Intel server-grade processor with wide operating temperature capability. This new platform handles and optimizes massive IoT traffic from large amount of connected sensors in future 5G networks.
