Lanner will be showcasing its wide gamut of hardware platforms for Intelligent Video Surveillance, expertly engineered to handle diverse environments and powerful analytics; from enterprise security to city-spanning physical security applications such as industrial, highway, mass transit buses & trains and critical infrastructure video surveillance.

Lanner offers application-specific hardware solutions for OEMs and VMS providers. Over more than 30 years, Lanner has been known for creating customized hardware for client applications with managed manufacturing process thanks to our in-house design and manufacturing services. In addition to application-specific hardware design and engineering, Lanner´s ODM/OEM services include covering color of chassis, height, modular or fixed port, BIOS, IPMI, acceleration cards, special certification and I/O interface customization. Lanner’s building block design concept can fulfill all your requirements.

Visit us during the ISC West 2019 at our Booth (#29086) in the Sands Expo Center Las Vegas from April 9 to 12. We will be showcasing our latest technology in rugged, in-vehicle and enterprise-grade NVR appliances for the physical security industry.

Pre-Certified Mobile Connectivity

Increasing mobile connectivity needs are streamlined through our pre-certified wireless modules-certified and ready for over a dozen carriers, Private LTE and FirstNet LTE mobile networking. OEMs and VMS providers turn to Lanner for a faster time-to-market for their products by leveraging application-specific and wireless certifications of our products. Customers can choose from a wide-ranging, pre-validated NVR platforms and certified LTE modules or have us custom-design and manufacture a new platform with personalized branding.

Enterprise-Grade Physical Security NVR

Advanced image processing algorithms, such as, facial recognition, people counting or license plate recognition, are being used to recognize and track movement of people and objects to determine their behavior and provide analytical insights. The summary reports can then be displayed as interactive graphs and exported. The system can also trigger other network devices such as alarms, electric gates or digital boards.

Analytics capable NVR’s are recommended especially when the number of analyzed channels is limited such as in an enterprise branch or small business. The extracted metadata is stored in the database of edge NVR’s and can be accessed from remote clients.

Lanner’s NVA-3000 offers a complete physical security platform for solution providers looking to offer a more advanced video security solution with powerful edge analytics and access control integration in one platform. NVA-3000 offers robust processing power for content encoding, streaming and compression and output delivery. In addition, it offers LPDDR4 Memory, Intel® HD Graphics and 8X PoE ports.

Mass Transit Surveillance: Automotive and Rolling Stock

Video surveillance is a great security solution for public transportation sector. With public security threats at an all-time high, security cameras on metro buses, trains and subways can help protect innocent citizens from terrorist attacks and help maintain a safe and secure transportation environment.

Transit systems vary widely depending on a number of different factors – size of city, density, size of transit network, type of transportation (bus, subway, trolley, tram…), etc. Lanner offers a range of pre-certified and validated hardware platforms for onboard NVR solution providers looking for a high-quality product and fast time-to-market for their solution. Our onboard hardware offers compliance and certification such as MIL-STD shock and vibration for bus and EN-50155 and EN 45545 for train NVRs

Vision Analytics Systems

Embedded vision analytics can be used for advanced motion detection in pro-active physical security applications. In most motion detection systems, alerts are signaled when frame-to-frame changes in the video are detected. This capability has been available for years and most cameras offered for surveillance applications can do this.

Embedded vision is advancing these capabilities, however, the problem with current motion detection systems is the high number of false positives. Advanced algorithms that require high levels of processing in a compact space are required for more intelligent video and fewer false alarms. The powerful, compact design of embedded vision systems makes them a perfect candidate to automate and improve motion detection in surveillance.

Many of Lanner’s video surveillance hardware platforms offer video analytics and edge compute support along with flexible and rich I/O options. LEC-2580 is one of the examples of Lanner’s industrial grade VMS hardware, built to offer mission-critical video surveillance in outdoor or harsh environment.

Embedded vision systems offering behavioral detection, facial recognition, access control license plate reading are common examples of modern day A.I. powered solutions used for physical security, public safety and road enforcements applications.
