Barcelona, January 24th 2023: Lanner Electronics, a global provider of network appliances and edgeAI systems, Telco Systems a leading provider of vendor-neutral hybrid edge compute solutions, and CVEDIA, a leader in edge computer vision software, today announced a partnership to demonstrate a next-generation, smart retail solution based on advanced edge computing supporting AI acceleration on a small form-factor edge device. The solution will be available for viewing at the ISE exhibition (Booth no.5A200) in Barcelona, January 31st through February 3rd.
The Smart Edge AI Solution integrates with Lanner’s AI-accelerated uCPE , Telco System’s Edgility Edge OS and CVEDIA RT AI-powered Video Analytics Software. The simple to onboard, unique workload includes computer vision AI based analytics applications connected to an Edge Computing platform with integrated SD-WAN that can span thousands of customer sites, on top of a compact edge device, capable of delivering real-time AI insights at the edge.

The rise of smart devices and the Internet of Things (IoT) is transforming Industrial Control System (ICS) networks, increasing usability, efficiency, and productivity in ICS environments, which also has a significant impact on ICS cyber security. Taipei, Taiwan, Jan. 10th, 2023 - Today sees the release of the NCA-6530, a 2U 19” rackmount network security appliance, and HMB-6130, a compute blade for Lanner HTCA-series. Both computing platforms support the dual-socket of 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processor, featuring a built-in accelerator for higher throughputs, advanced hardware-enabled security, and exceptional NIC module expansion.
According to market observation, most communications service providers will start with WAN optimization and automation, and then further consider security. Under the trend of enterprises adopting multi-cloud networks, WAN optimization and automation combined with information security protection will become mainstream. In the future, enterprises transferring traditional routers to uCPE SD-WAN will continue to rise.

Lanner today sees the release of the IIoT-I531, a fanless computing vision IPC powered by the 11th generation Intel Core i Series CPU (codenamed Tiger Lake-UP3). This particular box PC is designed for machine vision, surveillance and compute-intensive video-related applications.
