Building a more agile and flexible network for delivering on-demand network functions requires full-featured hardware and software solutions that are specifically designed for SDN/NFV architectures. At IDF 2016, Lanner will partner with NTT and IIGA to showcase the next-generation Cloud WAN Service featuring the Lanner’s smart vCPE devices and Lagopus vSwitch software developed by NTT and IIGA’s Flow Visualizer. Come visit our booth #825 from Aug. 16 to 18 at Moscone Convention Center, San Francisco, USA.

At IDF16, Lanner and IIGAwill demonstrate the full package Cloud WAN solutions, including the smart vCPE device FW-7551 and the DPDK-enabled SDN/NFV middleware Lagopus and IIGA’s Flow Visualizer. Lanner’s FW-7551 is a compact x86 based desktop appliance, empowered by Intel Atom C2000 Series SoC (Codenamed Rangeley) with up to 8-core computing capability, 6 GbE ports with 2 pairs LAN bypass support and 16GB 1333/1600 DDR3 memory. As an ideal hardware device for SDN/NFV application, FW-7551 also comes with built-in Intel QuickAssist crypto acceleration as well as full DPDK compatibility.

The Lagopus vSwitch fully covers OpenFlow 1.3 specifications and programmable APIs in order to improve serviceability, agility and stability. With state of the art DPDK technologies, Lagopus vSwitch is able to deliver high performance packet forwarding and processing for SDN/NFV applications on Intel x86 CPUs and intel NICs.

The IIGA’s FlowVisualizer enables the visualization of Flow Entry and Slice design, and is possible system collaboration with OpenDaylight.

With the integrated solution from hardware and software, Lanner’s FW-7551 vCPE device and innovated Lagopus vSwitch softwareand IIGA’s FlowVisualizer will optimize the potential to realize SDN/NFV-enabled network environment and shorten the system integrator development time for next generation Cloud WAN applications.
