Lanner today made available a list of riser cards and mounting peripherals for a wide selection of embedded computing appliances, specifically the LEC-2010, the LEC-2110, the LEC-2220, the LEC-2270 and the LEC-2280, simplifying the process of selecting the needed accessory for PCI/PCI-E expansion.

Lanner, the associate member of Intel® Internet of Things, today announced the release of three fanless embedded computers powered by the latest Intel® Atom/Celeron Bay Trail SoC; they are the LEC-7230, the LEC-7230M and the LEC-2530. The new Intel® Bay Trail SoC is known for its significant improvement in computing performance and low power consumption.

Today sees the release of the FW-8896, a 2U rackmount network security appliance with dual CPU performance and optimized power efficiency.

The FW-8896 is the successor to Lanner’s DPDK-ready flagship network computing platformand is powered by two Intel® Xeon® processor E5-2600 v3 (codenamed Haswell-EP) and the Intel® C612 series chipset (codenamed Wellsburg), featuring 22nm process, DDR4 support and enhanced SATA support.

Today Lanner sees the addition of the AV-ICE04 to its VPN acceleration card offerings that include the AV-ICE01, the AV-ICE02 and last but not least, the NCS2-ICE03, a VPN acceleration NIC module.

These high -performance hardware-based VPN acceleration cards/modules provide tunneling and encryption services suitable for site-to-site and remote access applications, supplementing the CPU throughput and freeing up valuable cores and CPU cycles for application processing.
