Taipei, Taiwan (TAIEX 6245)–Lanner Electronics Inc., a world-leading hardware provider in design, engineering, and manufacturing services for advanced network appliances, and, Cavium, Inc. (NASDAQ: CAVM), a leading provider of semiconductor products that enable intelligent processing for enterprise, data center, cloud, wired and wireless networking, today jointly announced the release of Lanner MR-810 platform targeting on Security, Telecom and NFV applications based on Cavium’s 64-bit ARMv8 ThunderX product family.

LANNER Electronics Inc.-Mississauga, Ontario, Canada - announced the release of the LEC-2284, a high-performance box PC powered by Intel®'s 4th generation Core™ i7/i5/i3 CPU with QM87 PCH.

The LEC-2284’s quad-core or dual-core processing power comes from Intel®’s Core™ i7-4700EQ, Core™ i5-4400E or Core™ i3-4102E processor, all three demonstrate significant performance gain over Intel’s 3rd generation Core™ processors (Core™ i7-3612QE/3555LE, i5-3610ME and i3-3120ME).

Lanner designs and manufactures a wide range of rugged, application-oriented computers designed for vehicle computing. Our hardware platforms feature compact form factor, ruggedness, shock/vibration resistance, wireless connectivity and rich I/O connectors, offering high levels of stability and reliability, as well as well-rounded balance of size, cost, performance and power consumption.

Industrial Control Systems (ICS) play a crucial role for a nation’s critical infrastructures. Since ICS facilities are usually deployed in remote, unmanned and harsh environments, Lanner introduces its new industrial grade appliance – LEC-6032, with capability to operate under wide temperature ranges, advanced LAN bypass (Gen.3) for failover recovery and rich connectivity to communicate with PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface).

The rapid adoption of cloud-based concepts into the telecom domain has triggered the shift from traditionally hardware-oriented business model into a software-centered proposition. In fact, telecom industries are requiring carrier-grade hardware architectures with high-performance, high-availability and high-scalability for deployments under NFV (Network Functions Virtualizations) and SDN (Software Defined Networking). Responding to this increasing demand, Lanner further expands its carrier-grade network appliances by introducing HCP-72i2 as its next telecom-standard, high-volume network platform.

Determined to further strengthen global competitiveness, Lanner is proudly to announce that it has been certified as AEO (Authorized Economic Operators) by Keelung Customs. In fact, Lanner is among the first leading manufacturer in Taiwan to receive the certification. Under this global supply chain standard, Lanner will strengthen its shipment efficiency and service as well as ensured logistics for our clients.
