As we can foresee, the upcoming 5G mobile network will initiate a variety of related applications for connected technologies, including autonomous driving, AR/VR, video streaming, network security and high bandwidth connectivity.

SD-WAN has proved to the answer to address the performance and connectivity bottlenecks towards business applications requiring high degree of mobility. In fact, SD-WAN can be deployed over existing 4G LTE or upcoming 5G cellular infrastructure to boost QoS (quality of services) for dedicated mobile business services or applications. With mobile SD-WAN, real-time, service-oriented wireless connectivity can be automated as packets are routed automatically to the pre-defined routes, and thus boosting the performance and high-availability.

Lanner’s NCA-5220, a white-box appliance powered by Intel® Xeon® E or Core™ i7/i5/i3 or Pentium® or Celeron® (Coffee Lake) delivers performance prowess capable of overcoming performance limitations found in SD-WAN deployments.

Lanner’s NCA-6210, a 2U x86 rackmount network appliance built with 2nd generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable processor platform and C621/C627 chipset, is equipped with a total of eight NIC module slots that support 1/10/40/100G copper/fiber interface, greatly enhancing the NCA-6210’s flexibility and scalability.
