New Taipei City, Taiwan (Nov. 14, 2017) – Lanner Electronics, Inc. (TAIEX 6245), a global leader in NFVi-ready hardware solutions, today announced that its award-winning NFVi-ready appliance HTCA-6200 is now validated with the Wind River® Titanium Cloud™ portfolio of virtualization software platforms, offering the high-performance telco hardware and software platform demanded by carrier-grade NFV applications. Through its comprehensive validation and pre-integration of industry-leading Wind River Titanium Cloud technologies, the Lanner platform is able to deliver carrier-grade readiness for VNF applications deployed at edge/cloud data centers, which helps accelerate time-to-market for service providers and telecom equipment manufacturers (TEMs).

The upcoming industrial revolution is anticipated to improve productivity, cost-efficiency and corporate competitiveness, made possible by connected sensors, IoT applications and the soon-to- released 5G networks to enable real time data connections from people, objects and contexts. Artificial intelligence (A.I) plays a critical role to collect and analyze massive volumes of digitized data to enable AI computing in visual inspection for smart factory, physical security for city safety, mobile edge computing for self-driving transits and adaptive streaming for video broadcasting.

Today sees the release of the LEC-2137, a I/O rich IoT-ready industrial box PC powered by Intel® Celeron® N3350 or Atom™ x7-E3950 (codenamed Apollo Lake).

Another of Lanner vehicle NVR is certified by market-leading video management software vendor. Lanner’s LVC-5770-7D, has recently been validated as fully compatible with Milestone Xprotect Essential+ VMS, another successful software-hardware validation case for Lanner following LVC-5000, a fully-integrated, feature-rich vehicle computing gateway.

The FW-7551SE, an upgraded iteration of Lanner’s best-selling vCPE/CPE device the FW-7551, is designed to take full advantage of Intel®’s Atom™ C2000 Series processors and comes with additional connectivity features, delivering virtualization-optimized performance and exceptional energy efficiency for network security, communication and on-demand network functions.

The new generation of Intel’s Atom C3000 processor (Codenamed Denverton) is designed for a variety of workloads at edge networks that require very low power, high density, and high I/O integration. The 2~16 core Intel Atom C3000 SoCs fully support Intel’s SR-IOV /Intel® AES-NI for high performance virtualization, 10GbE SFP+ interface, and Intel® QuickAssist Technology for hardware-based crypto acceleration, running at 20G.

With the rising incidents of material theft in critical infrastructures, site surveillance has become increasingly important and cameras have been deployed at energy stations, power plants, and other utility production sites. However, owners of critical infrastructures require an all-in-one solution that can integrate the functionality of a cyber security and surveillance to ease the deployment process. Lanner, the global leader in cyber security gateway manufacturing, expands its current LEC-6032 product family with LEC-6032E, the PoE-enabled version for surveillance purpose in critical infrastructures.
