Delivering Resilient Enterprise and Carrier Networks with Lanner White Box uCPE Solutions Embedded w/ Turnium SD-WAN

February 28, 2022, Vancouver, Canada – Today, Turnium Technology Group Inc. (TTGI) and Lanner Electronics Inc. are excited to announce the availability of TTGI’s and Lanner’s joint edge compute solution, built using Turnium’s cloud-native network function (CNF) certified software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) solution on Lanner’s latest white box network appliance, the NCA-1516 uCPE, at Mobile World Congress 2022 (MWC22).

Today Lanner released the NCA-4030 and the NCA-4035, 1U rackmount network security appliances powered by Intel’s Xeon® D-1700 LCC & D-2700 HCC multi-core processors (codenamed Ice Lake D), built on the modern Ice Lake 10nm process.

Lanner provides scalable and interoperable network platforms designed for building secure and reliable communications for critical infrastructure, such as utilities, high-speed broadband and transportation. These modular hardware appliances not only enable AI computing, secure the data transport, simplify the management, but also consolidate virtualized network applications at the network edge.

New Taipei City, Taiwan — Jan., 25th, 2022 — Lanner Electronics Inc., a global leader in manufacturing and supplying network appliances and rugged applied computing platforms, has unveiled enterprise-grade Wi-Fi 6E access point, -- LWR-X8460, a 12-stream Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) access point network solution, designed for the growing demands of increasingly crowded and dense Wi-Fi environments. With 4x4 MU-MIMO in 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz Tri-Band, and comply with IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax standards, the LWR-X8460 offers fast and secure Wi-Fi connectivity.

The rapid growth of Multi-access Networking Computing (MEC) has enabled numerous innovations in the space of 5G networks, which drives service agility to the edge cloud as the disaggregation of CORD facilitates the virtualization of BNG, security, load balancing and SRv6 Service Chaining. Through multi-vendor compatibility, pre-validated MEC platforms provide dynamic scalability and low-latency communications and assisted with high performance AI computing.

Today sees the release of Lanner’s NCA-5230, a network appliance powered by the Intel® Xeon®/i9/i7/i5/i3/Pentium/Celeron CPU (Codenamed Comet Lake S). This platform is positioned as a next-gen firewall, UTM and IDS/IDP gateway ideal for countering the complexities and sophistications found in most of today’s DDoS and ransomware attacks.

Operating on the cloud has many benefits for companies and organizations including increased efficiency in operations and management, better support and access for distributed workforce, flexible scalability, and reduced costs. Even as many enterprises begin adopting cloud computing processes, there are migration challenges including network reliability, security, and availability concerns. In order to avoid security weak points or downtime, there must have built-in redundancy and availability in the most critical components. Enterprises need to build a strategy that encompasses all the needs of their organization and one that can deliver safe, reliable, and seamless cloud access.
