Today sees the release of Lanner’s LEC-2430, a compact and high-performance IPC powered by Intel®’s Bay Trail CPU.
The LEC-2430 is equipped with one mini-PCIe, one PCI and one PCI-E riser card, offers extremely flexible expandability, one of the most sought-after features for industrial PCs. These expansion interfaces can be leveraged for adding additional I/O and communications ports, not only improving a system’s functionalities but also simplifying the complicated tasks faced by system integrators and developers.
The LEC-2430 ‘s fanless, robust and compact design simplify deployments and maintenance at locations with limited and confined spaces. Its Intel® Celeron® J1900/N2930 or Intel® Atom™ E3845 processor, offers much improved graphical/media performance and expansion capability, making it a cost-effective, energy-conscious and yet powerful embedded appliance.
Other notable features include the LEC-2430’s support for 9 to 30 VDC power input for most IoT applications and environments, multi-display video output for enabling separate video streams, clones or extension modes on multiple screens, integrated SIM card reader, up to 4GB of low-powered DDR3/L memory and a multitude of I/O interface such as VGA (1600x1200) and HDMI (1920x1080) for high definition video streaming, dual Giga LAN ports and serial COM ports for network and serial functions. High-speed data transmission is made possible via the availability of both USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports.
