Today sees the release of Lanner’s LEC-7242, an industrial environment gateway IPC with Intel® Apollo Lake CPU. This wireless gateway with FCC/CE/PTCRB certification for LTE or Wifi is designed for IoT/IIoT edge, wireless security and multi-site management solution deployment in commercial, enterprise and public sector applications.
Having received the PTCRB certification for wireless communications, the LEC-7242 fulfills communication service providers’ demand for interoperability and cellular network standards, making it the ideal 4G/LTE wireless communication solution for mobile communication markets found in regions that require such credential.
In addition to the PTCRB certification, the LEC-7242 is also CE/FCC certified. The 168 x 40 x 145 mm form factor makes it a portable and ideal for almost all deployment scenarios, and its x86 open architecture enables flexibility for carrying out various software and virtual network functions.
