Lanner today made available a list of riser cards and mounting peripherals for a wide selection of embedded computing appliances, specifically the LEC-2010, the LEC-2110, the LEC-2220, the LEC-2270 and the LEC-2280, simplifying the process of selecting the needed accessory for PCI/PCI-E expansion.

Lanner’s embedded IPCs are built and designed for wide deployment in application specific environments. Their design emphasizes stability, longevity and reliability, not only providing the perfect balance of size, price and performance but also offering flexibility, expandability and customization.

The riser cards, in particular, make available the scalability needed by system integrators looking to fulfill specification requirements for almost any vertical application. The LEC-2270’s MIO Expansion Layer, for example, enables a plethora of I/O configurations. The PCIe x16 port on its main board can be turned into a PCIe x1 or PCIe x8 port via the compatible riser cards; the same scalability can also be applied to the LEC-2280, a fanless IPC powered by the 3rd generation Intel Core i7/i5/i3 processor
