Lanner’s x86 network appliances are known worldwide for their reliability and flexibility. As the leading provider for information security hardware, Lanner offers a wide selection of network platforms that ranges from basic desktop firewalls and 1U high-port density mainstream enterprise UTM to advanced 2U network systems with high-performance processors, expansion capability and redundancy support.

Lanner, the global leading manufacturer in network appliances, is proudly to announce that the two participating Lanner products are the award recipient for 2016 Taiwan Excellence Award. The two award-winning products, UP-2010 and NCA-1010, have demonstrated Lanner’s technological advantages in research, development and platform architectures. In fact, it is the second consecutive year that Lanner has been honored for Taiwan Excellence Award. The awards acknowledge Lanners’ 30-year experience and expertise in network security fields as well as the leadership in the global market.

The rising trend of IoT (Internet of Things) has triggered greater demands for reliability and serviceability in network security, cloud computing and data center operations. To meet this challenging demand, Lanner has unveiled its first Intel® Xeon® Processor E3-1200 v5 Series, based 1U modular network appliance NCA-5210, featuring 14nm microprocessor, the new Intel® Xeon® Processor E3-1200 v5 Series, DDR4 memory support and the I/O boosting, comprehensive Intel® C236 Series chipset, and flexible LAN configurations.

With the increasing emphasis on space efficiency in commercial applications, such as solar PV monitoring, wind turbine, smart meter and renewable energy, Lanner introduces LEC-3030 product series, so far the most compact industrial-grade DIN Rail box PC for industrial communications by Lanner. LEC-3030 is driven by Intel dual-core SoC CPU and supports 4GB DDR3L 1,333MHz SO-DIMM memory. LEC-3030 also comes with various features including ESD/surge protected COM and LAN ports, VGA display, DIN Rail and wallmount options and wide range of operating temperatures.

To optimize networking and virtualization performances, Lanner has introduced a highly integrated 14-nm BGA SoC based 1U rackmount network security appliance NCA-4010. Designed with optimization capabilities at mid-range tier, NCA-4010 is driven by Intel® Xeon® D-1518 4-core/D1548 8-core 14nm CPU, codenamed Broadwell-DE to deliver high networking performance, large memory, external crypto accelerator and scalable LAN configurations.

Lanner today announced the release of the LEC-2284, a high-performance box PC powered by Intel®'s 4th generation Core™ i7/i5/i3 CPU with QM87 PCH.

The LEC-2284’s quad-core or dual-core processing power comes from Intel®’s Core™ i7-4700EQ, Core™ i5-4400E or Core™ i3-4102E processor, all three demonstrate significant performance gain over Intel’s 3rd generation Core™ processors (Core™ i7-3612QE/3555LE, i5-3610ME and i3-3120ME).

The rising trend of IoT (Internet of Things) has triggered greater demands for reliability and serviceability in network security, cloud computing and data center operations. To meet this challenging demand, Lanner has unveiled its first 6th generation Intel Core-based 1U network appliance NCA-4210, featuring 14nm microprocessor, the new LGA 1151 socket, DDR4 memory support and the I/O boosting, comprehensive Intel® H110 and C236 series chipset, and flexible LAN configurations.
