Lanner today launched the NCA-6050, a 2U rackmount network security platform powered by Intel® Xeon6® Processor Scalable Family. The NCA-6050 was launched to fulfill network service providers’ demand for a robust and flexible hardware platform for delivering optimal network computing performance and modest ownership costs.
With its support for Intel® QuickAssist Technology and up to 1024GB of DDR5 system memory at 6400MHz, the NCA-6050 greatly maximizes packet processing efficiency for virtual network functions, cryptography acceleration (for deep packet inspection) and next-generation firewall and UTM/IPS/IDS applications.
For optimal networking services, the NCA-6050 comes with either 8x NCS2/4x N2S or 4x NCS2/2x N2S NIC modules, making the NCA-6050 the ideal network appliance for optimizing network traffic management and for enhancing virtualized network security.
Other outstanding features include, 2x GbE RJ45, 1x RJ45 console, 2x USB 3.0, 1x Mini DP, 2x U.2 NVME SSD (optional) and 1x FHHL PCIe Gen5 or 2x FHFL & 1x FHHL PCIe Gen5 for GPU cards (by SKU).
