In the past few years, electrical substations have become a primary target for cyberattacks. It is believed that power facilities are targets for modern cyber warfare. Today’s IIoT infrastructure is encountering increased cyber security threats due to the vulnerability of the use of public networks for IT/OT convergence. To add confidence in the industrial control system (ICS), Lanner presents ICS-P570, the next-generation industrial cyber security gateway for power substations.
Lanner’s ICS-P570 is designed to protect communication in both IT and OT domains. ICS-P570 series is empowered by AMD® Ryzen V1404I CPU for enhanced IoT platform and high processing performance. As the next-generation industrial cybersecurity gateway for power substations, ICS-P570 possesses several key hardware features, including advanced LAN bypass technology, RJ45, SFP GbE LAN and DIO ports, and hardware security TPM 2.0 onboard.
As a rugged firewall deployed in challenging environments, ICS-P570 is compliant with IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613, in addition to generous I/O ports supporting 6x or 4x GbE RJ45 LAN ports and 2x GbE SFP ports, 1x console ports, 2x USB ports, and 2x DIO. The system’s power supply voltage supports dual +12~48Vdc power input and operates in a wide range of temperatures from -40°C to 70°C. All the hardware design assures that the security gateway ICS-P570 will never have downtime while operating in hazardous surroundings such as the OT environment. In wireless connectivity options, ICS-P570 is expandable with LTE module support. For more details, please visit Lanner's website.
