Open RAN Appliance with Programmable P4 Switch

Powered by 5x Intel Xeon Scalable Processors (codenamed Ice Lake), Lanner HTCA-E400 is a consolidated hyper-converged edge server specifically designed for OpenRAN infrastructure. With support of Intel Tofino P4 and FPGA/GPU acceleration, the scalable HTCA-E400 edge compute platform features programmable, intelligent switching capability that can offload open architecture CPU and is cost-effective in the long term through supporting protocol-independent and multi-Tbps networking performance without being compromised by hardware bottleneck.

Designed to be deployed in outdoor limited spaces such as pole mount cabinets and edge server rooms, the ECA-4025 is a short-depth chassis Open RAN appliance, powered by 8~16 cores Intel® Xeon® D-2100 series processor (codenamed Skylake-D), for 5G Open RAN, Edge Cloud, and AI edge-focused applications with extensive configuration options. Its wide operating temperature range allows for durable usage in environments where temperatures range from -40 to 65°C. Its unique side airflow cooling system also promotes heat dissipation to further improve system reliability.

5G & WiFi 6 Ready uCPE/vCPE Platform

For the past three years, Lanner has worked with the eco-system partners to enable ComSPs to migrate from traditional routers to whitebox uCPE, reducing their expenses in hardware maintenance and facilitating the use of multiple third-party VNFs on a single open platform. At MWC 2022, Lanner will bring the latest uCPE platforms, including NCA-1516 and NCA-1040, all designed in open architecture with WiFi 6 and LTE/5G wireless connectivity. Lanner will also collaborate with Turnium and Lanner to demonostrate off-the-shelf network bonding and failover software pre-installed on Lanner’s uCPE device. This bundle enables customers to deliver multi-path failover using diverse LTE and wireline paths quickly and simply.
