Lanner Electronics & Hailo collaborate on one of the most cost-efficient PCIe accelerator cards on the market, with record high tera operations per second (TOPS), enabling high-end deep learning applications on edge servers

NEW TAIPEI, Taiwan and TEL AVIV, Israel, May 10th, 2022, Lanner Electronics, a global leader in the design and manufacturing of intelligent edge computing appliances, announced its first Hailo-8™AI-powered PCIe accelerator card, the Falcon H8. Lanner Electronics collaborated with leading AI (Artificial Intelligence) chipmaker Hailo to design the Falcon H8, enabling scalable and powerful intelligent video analytics applications for multiple industries operating at the edge, including intelligent transport systems (ITS), smart cities, smart retail, and Industry 4.0. The Falcon H8 is one of the most cost-efficient PCIe AI accelerator cards on the market, with a low power consumption and record high of up to 156 tera operations per second (TOPS) to allow high-end deep learning applications on edge servers.

Taipei, May 3, 2022 – Lanner today announced the release of the PGN-750, a hot-swappable 5G Sub-6 radio modem module for mission-critical communications, with a wide operating temperature range for rugged environments.

Taipei, Taiwan — April 19, 2022 — Lanner Electronics (TAIEX 6245), a global leader in uCPE/vCPE network appliances and Whitebox Solutions™, today announced the company will deliver its next-generation network appliance NCA-6520 with Red Hat OpenStack, verified as an Intel Select Solution for NFVI v3. Lanner worked with Intel to integrate the NCA-6520 with pre-configured hardware and software optimal for NFVI deployments and will help service providers to ease interoperability, gain stability, and speed deployment, thereby addressing the challenges faced when choosing the right infrastructure on which to implement NFV-based services.

With the complexities of advanced cyber attacks such as DDoS and ransomware, solution providers for enterprise network security need a reliable hardware partner that understands the specialized requirement for network security landscape and offers wide selection of network appliances specifically built to mitigate cyber threats in SMB, branch office, enterprise and campus.

To meet the increasing demands from network service agility, there is an accelerating trend of deploying SD-WAN capabilities to the network edge, which not only enables optimization at the edge, but also offers flexibility and cost advantages for creating agile and profitable managed services, including routing, VPN, IPS/IDS, CGNAT, BNG, and service assurance.

In the past year and a half, securely facilitating remote working has become a priority for a majority of enterprises. There are a variety of strategies available to secure both off- and on-premises infrastructure. The current state of secure access service edge (SASE), zero trust firewalls, and software-defined wide-area networks (SD-WAN) are becoming commonly used by enterprises.
