Taipei, May 3, 2022 – Lanner today announced the release of the PGN-750, a hot-swappable 5G Sub-6 radio modem module for mission-critical communications, with a wide operating temperature range for rugged environments.
Lanner PGN-750 is a 5G extension module compatible with Lanner Vehicle Computer V3S, V6S, and ISD-V330. This 5G modem module has been pre-certified by PTCRB, and its PCIe 3.0 connector interface is hot-swappable for maximum flexibility. PGN-750 supports a built-in 5G radio modem, backward compatibility with 4G/LTE, in addition to two nano-SIM card readers, four 5G antenna jacks, and an antenna/cable kit. To assure constant connectivity, PGN-750 offers a failover mechanism for 24/7 operation and communication. The modem module is optimally designed for public safety, video surveillance, and in-vehicle SD-WAN applications.
The new PGN-750 modularized 5G modem series are powered by Telit FN980, Quectel RM500Q-AE, or Thales MV-31W solutions, and pre-certified with PTCRB, critical elements for today’s IIoT applications. The PGN-750 supports a wide temperature range of -40~70˚C with LTE or 5G, ensuring advanced performance even in harsher environmental settings. For certification regulations, PGN-750 is certified for EN62368-1, CE RED, FCC, PTCRB, and Global Certification Forum (GCF) certifications. For reliability, PGN-750 has passed IEC-60068-2-64 vibration test, and IEC- 60068-2-27 shock test.
The PGN-750 is specifically designed for rugged application, supporting connections of up to four outdoor antennas, enabling in-vehicle or outdoor ITS wayside upgrade to 5G connectivity. The PGN-750 is available now. For more information, please visit Lanner’s official website.
