Lanner’s awarded NCA-1611 is a NEBS-compliant vCPE appliance designed in expandable desktop form factor for SD-WAN or SD-Security deployments. NCA-1611 is powered by Intel® Xeon® D-1500 Series processor. The appliance is made to be virtualization-optimized by SR-IOV and DPDK technologies, crypto-security ready by Intel®AES-NI and QuickAssist, and carrier-grade compliant not only certified by NEBS but also K.21.
As a deployment-ready device for branch offices or SME settings, NCA-1611 is a compact desktop vCPE appliance features abundant of I/O functions, including 6x LAN ports, 2x 10G SFP+, up to 128GB (RDIMM)/64GB (ECC) system memory and dual mini-PCIe (one with SIM) sockets supporting Wi-Fi, LTE, and IPMI.
Lanner will showcase its signature DPDK flagship – FW-8896 – the powerful networking appliance driven by two Intel® Xeon® processor E5-2600 v3/v4 family and Intel® C612 series chipset, as well as DDR4 memory and enhanced SATA functionality. FW-8896 is made to optimize hardware performance, bandwidth, and throughput to run instructions for heavy communication workloads and enhanced processing capabilities in enterprise firewall, UTM, IPS, application delivery controller and WAN optimization.
As a flagship hardware platform, FW-8896 provides 8 NIC module expansion sockets, with the possible capability to support up to 64 GbE LAN ports. For maximal memory capacity, FW-8896 can accommodate a maximum of 16 quad-channel 2,133 MHz DDR4 modules, totaled up to 512GB.
