Taipei, Taiwan – May 21, 2025 – Lanner Electronics, a global leader in Edge AI computing, is pleased to announce its collaboration with Delta Electronics to unveil a next-generation action detection solution for smart manufacturing at COMPUTEX 2025. This joint showcase integrates Delta’s AI Video Analytics Solution ACME with Lanner’s high-performance Edge AI platforms to deliver real-time monitoring of manual operations workstations, intelligent error correction, and automated video analytics for Industry 4.0 applications.

The solution leverages Delta’s AI Vision technology, which combines action detection and AI video analytics to address long-standing challenges in human-based manufacturing operations. These include limited process visibility, inconsistent quality control, and the high cost of manual monitoring. By automating the recognition of operator actions and production events through AI, the solution enhances traceability, reduces rework rates and costs, and supports resource optimization across factory floors.

At COMPUTEX, Lanner is showcasing the deployment of this solution using its Edge AI computer EAI-I730 for developing and deploying AI inference models, along with the EAI-I133 for real-time AI inference of video streams from multiple IP cameras. These devices enable AI-powered end-to-end monitoring at workstations and connect seamlessly with IT/OT systems to trigger real-time error alarms and provide actionable data for production analysis and motion optimization.
