5G networks are anticipated to enhance future networks with faster, more agile and more reliable network communications, made possible by the distributed edge computing infrastructure to improve service flexibility and lower the communications latency. At MWC 2019, Lanner will demonstrate the next-gen network solutions aiming to empower the computing, connectivity and security for 5G applications at the edge. Come visit our booth at MWC at Hall 7 (7B2) from February 25 to 28, 2019.

Pre-validated uCPE/vCPE

Lanner will present the latest open-architecture vCPE/uCPE platforms pre-validated with major SDN/NFV and VNF solution providers. Suggested desktop or rackmount appliances offer Intel® x86 multi-core CPU for running multiple VNFs, hardware acceleration like DPDK, Intel QuickAssist, SR-IOV and AES-NI, rich LAN port configurations including both RJ-45, SFP and SFP+ ports, as well as wireless connectivity with Wi-Fi/4G/LTE.

PoC Demo: Real-time Video/AR with Ultra Low Latency via MEC Platform

At MWC 2019, Lanner will demonstrate how to use MEC server deployed at the edge to boost CDN (Content Delivery Network) efficiency and provide the ultra-low latency infrastructure of 5G networks. We will showcase how real-time video streaming and AR deployed in Lanner MEC platform can enjoy both low latency and high bandwidth. In this demo, Lanner MEC platform NCA-6210 (Powered by Intel Xeon Scalable processors) will demonstrate its capability in the smooth HD video playback and short buffering time for AR applications.

HCI-ready Platforms and Rugged Network Appliances

To answer the demand for future 8K video streaming and AR/VR applications, Lanner showcases the hyper-converged network platforms designed for delivering multi-node compute, high-speed 100G switching and massive storage in one single appliance, delivering highly available service agility and economics in edge on premise, CORD and cloud data center.

At MWC 2019 Lanner will bring our latest rugged network appliance NCR-1510, featuring Intel server-grade processor with wide operating temperature capability. This new platform is designed to deploy at the micro data center or CORD as an outdoor server, which handles and optimizes massive IoT traffic from large amount of connected sensors in future 5G networks,
