Lanner (6245.TW) today announced the release of the VES-500, a RISC-based 203mm x 160mm single board computer powered by the Freescale i.MX6 multi-core and power-efficient processor, delivering performance for a wide variety of industrial and commercial communications applications.

The VES-500 is designed specifically for projects that demand cost and power efficiency, such as retail (digital signage, kiosk and vending machines), in-vehicle surveillance, industrial communication (HMI, gateway controller) and building automation (alarm, security).

Today sees the release of the HCP-72i1, a 2U rackmount network security appliance built with Lanner’s unique Hybrid Telecommunications Computing Architecture (HybridTCA™).

The HCP-72i1 integrates control, management and data processing in one system and is positioned as an ideal solution for datacenters and telecommunications carriers. It comes with two x86 mainboards, each supporting two Intel Xeon E5-2600 series “Ivy Bridge EP” processors on LGA2011.

Today sees the release of the FX-3710, a high-performance 3U rackmount cloud storage appliance that features Intel's Sandy Bridge-EP/Ivy Bridge CPUs (codenamed “Romley”) with 10 cores of processing power and two mainboards powered by Intel's Xeon processor E5-2600 series.

Cloud-based storage is an increasing necessity for today’s businesses and telecommunications needs. Lanner’s FX-3710 is introduced as an answer to the demand for secure, high-capacity storage appliances that support high data transfer bandwidth. For storage and networking the FX-3710 features up to twenty 2.5”SATA/SAS HDD drive bays and six PCI-E FHHL cards, offering impressive storage capacity in a single unit.

Lanner today announced the release of the latest COM Express® Computer-On-Modules solutions.

The VES-220 (type2) and the VES-270 (type 6) are highly integrated Computer-On-Modules (COM) that support system expansion and application-specific customizations. These two CPU modules are designed to work with the evaluation boards the VES-8X2 and the VES-8X6 respectively. They each complement the other, making available two embedded solutions that are highly customizable and flexible.

Lanner today announced the addition of another fanless industrial PC, the LEC-6230, to the LEC-6000 Series, which is designed for a full range of industrial automation and power and energy communication applications such as ICS cyber security.
