Reverse polarity protection is an internal circuit that ensures that the device is not damaged when the power supply polarity is reversed. The reverse polarity protection circuit cuts off power to the sensitive electronic circuits in the transmitter or transducer.

The LEC-6041 Series is powered by an Intel® Atom x7-E3950 or x5-E3930 processor for low power consumption and high processing performance. As a robust firewall deployed in challenging environments, the LEC-6041 comes with IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 certifications, as well as 1.5 KV magnetic isolation protection for LAN ports and 15KV ESD protection for I/O ports. The system can operate in a wide range of operating temperatures from -40°C to 70°C.
