In the year of 2017 we have witnessed the 5G network transformation, such as SD-WAN, NFVI, mobile edge computing, cloud RAN and video transcoding, has been adapted in various applications with enhanced flexibility, scalability and reliability. To accelerate your SDN/NFV solutions for upcoming 5G networks, at MWC 2018 Lanner will partner with Wind River, Enea, Trend Micro and 128 Technology to address the new proof-of-concept in SD-WAN, SD-security and carrier-grade NFVI. Come visit our booth at Hall 7 (#7E2) from February 26th to March 2nd at Barcelona, Spain.

Next-gen SD-WAN with NCA-2510 uCPE and128 Technology
Lanner will team up128 Technology to develop an uCPE PoC that combines 128T Session Smart routing software running on Lanner new NCA-2510, a virtualization-optimized 1RU-high server that features Intel Atom C3000 processors (Denverton), 10G SFP+ optical connectivity, and native support from SR-IOV, AES-NI and QAT. The combined uCPE solution leverages 128 Technology’s session-oriented, state-based architecture, which obviates the need for multiple common middlebox functions when building application-friendly branch office networks and allows integrated functions, such as L2-L4 firewall, load balancing, session migration, to be deployed in a small hardware footprint.

SD-Security with NCA-4010 vCPE, ENEA and Trend Micro
To fulfill the needs of on-demand network security solutions in NFV environment, Lanner, Enea and Trend Micro work together to offer flexible, reliable, and high-performance network security solutions for edge network. This solution includes Lanner’s vCPE platform NCA-4010 based on Intel Xeon D-1500 processors (Broadewell-DE), Enea NFV Access platform and Trend Micro’s Virtual Network Function Suite (VNFS), aiming to provide various network security functions, including intrusion prevention, URL filtering, and application control at branch office or network edge.

NFVI-ready Platform HCTA-6200 with Wind River Titanium Cloud
Lanner will showcase ’s NFV-ready platform HTCA-6200, a NEBS-ready carrier-grade appliance which features dual Intel Xeon® E5-2600 CPUs blades, three swappable I/O blades and have undergone a comprehensive testing and validation process with the Wind River Titanium Clooud NFV infrastructure (NFVI) software solution. Through the validation and pre-integration of industry-leading NFV ready hardware and software, Lanner is able to deliver carrier-grade network platforms optimized for NFV deployment, and help accelerate time-to-market for service providers and telecom equipment manufacturers (TEMs).
