Overview

32-channels of full D1 H.264 video delivers best-in-class network video security

The Lanner VN-3032 is the first network video platform to simultaneously capture, encode, store and transmit 32-channels of full D1 H.264 video. Lanner’s network video platform utilizes the latest H.264 video codec to encode and store video with the highest possible quality. Supporting full NTSC and PAL formats, our video platforms take 32 analog video signals and simultaneously transcode them to H.264 digital format, allowing customers to build world-class network video solutions, with excellent video quality.

H.264 Video & Audio

The VN-3032 supports 32-channels of NTSC or PAL video via two swappable 16-channel H.264 video encoder modules. Each module also supports 16 audio channels and a set of DI/DO and relay inputs for alarm monitoring and access control.

Quad-Core Xeon Architecture

The VN-3032 processing board is built around the Intel 5000P chipset and supports two Quad-core Intel Xeon processors and 32GBs of fully buffered memory. A dedicated onboard RAID controller supports 6 hot-swappable hard drives, while an optional encryption engine allows for real-time encryption of video for secure network transmission.

Network Modularization

The VN-3032 features a swappable network module with up to 4 front facing Ethernet ports. Lanner has a range of module choices; fibre, fibre by-pass, GbE and GbE with by-pass, making it easy for you to mix to build the platform you require.

Shock and Vibration

Careful material selection and proper use of damping technology addresses shock issues that arise from internal storage. The VN-3032 meets the stringent requirements needed to eliminate harmonic vibration.

Built In Redundancy, Serviceability

Lanner's VN-3032 features the latest in redundancy and serviceability technologies. The VN-3032’s modular design allows for field replacement of many system components. Motherboard, video encoder, network, hard drives and power supply can all be replaced in the field, saving time and money on technical support.

Thermal Management

The VN-3032 delivers excellent thermal metrics though solid engineering and airflow design. Internal components and mechanics are designed together to allow for maximum cooling, providing a stable operating environment.
