Interactive Advertising
Interactive AdvertisingThe benefit of Digital Signage over traditional signage is the creation of dynamic displays. Not only can advertisers play with text, color, design and images, but now they can add movement and depth. On top of that they can add video footage to make the display more eye-catching. In the right hands these moving images, video and text come together to make compelling and meaningful signage. Digital signage is superior to traditional billboards.

However, not all digital signage is created equal. Walking through a certain supermarkets one pass by certain aisles, where a small 5 inch screen is blaring a commercial everyone someone passes it- an example of digital signage at its worst. However the following is a description of interactive digital signage advertising at its best.

The most forward thinking department stores and upscale shop fronts some have started using rear projected digital signage screens that are interactive through the front window. The large screen, doesn’t take up the entire store front, but takes up an area bigger than a big screen tv. On it are the items and inventory of the store. This way passer-bys and potential customers can browse merchandise without entering the store; ensuring a steady stream of people crowding the front of the store. Furthermore this technology can work 24 hours a day, meaning that potential customers can always interact with the display.

This technology already exists and is just waiting for large scale implementation. Lanner digital signage platforms can be attached to the correct projector and sensory equipment to make your interactive display its best.
