Introduction

Lanner’s fleet of mobile in-vehicle computers offers distinct advantages in the field. All our car computers utilize the best vibration and shock testing to ensure that our mobile IPCs will last even in the bumpiest of settings. Lanner in-vehicle PCs all feature mini-PCIe expansions with SIM card readers attached, this allows each computer to have 3G or GPS connectivity. Lanner car PCs feature wide voltage ranges allowing these appliances to be easily installed into a variety of moving vehicles. Other advantages include secure I/O ports, ignition detection and low electrical consumption.

Together we designed a rugged, Intel-based in-vehicle computer which focuses on surveillance and video monitoring. The platform is diverse enough to integrate other intelligent transport applications such as logging, GPS tracking, and other similar data management solutions. We produce and ship about several hundred platforms every two months.
